Advancement and application of computer technology has made distance learning  become E-learning embracing synchronous and asynchronous learning. In the past, many scholars all think that interaction is the important factor in education. Instruction Interaction has a significant meaning on learning efficiency and fostering thinking ability.
Interaction needs interplay between two objects and actions. Interaction can comprehend learners' reflection through their verbal and non-verbal actions and be easier to evaluate their curricular performance. Instructor to learner and peer to peer interaction are the reflection of instruction quality. An ideal interaction allows learners and instructors modulating teaching direction together. Interaction doesn’t easily happen in distance learning  unless its type change.
The learning process should have interaction between instructors and learners, not just only between learner and material. Many distance learning scholars point out that interaction is one of the main properties in distance learning, and the issues about interaction is also be emphasized by many researches. The technique that distance learning instructors most need to develop is to facilitate learners actively learning. The most difficult part in distance learning is not the lecture on curricular content but how to facilitate learners actively participating.
Therefore, how to facilitate interaction in distance learning process is one of key factors if improve learning outcome of distance learning effectively.
