Study in Taiwan (Admission Requirements)

Part 02: Admission Requirements
Application Deadline : March, 2012

General Requirements:
(1) A copy of the bachelor’s degree diploma is required for application to the master’s program; a copy of the master’s degree diploma is required for application to the Ph.D. program.
(2) Applicants are expected to have a high level of English proficiency. The minimum requirement (or equivalent) is TOEFL PBT 500 / CBT 173 / iBT 73 or IELTS 5.5.

Required Documents (per department/institute)
1. An application form with a photo taken within the past 6 months.
2. Study plan : A study plan in English clearly stating your motivation, objectives, detailed plan of study, research interests, potential contribution and other relevant information. The suggested length is 2 pages, 12 pt, single spaced. 
3. A photocopy of notarized diploma of the highest degree obtained
4. A photocopy of fully notarized official transcript of academic records
5. Two letters of recommendation in sealed envelopes.
6. A photocopy of passport (photo page) or national identification
7. Proof of English proficiency (Photocopy of test results)
8. Proof of relevant work experiences : Submit supporting documents stating your work experiences, such as a statement of employment.
