"16.02.2009" - A Screenplay Based on a True Incident : [Incomplete]

INT. A SMALL ROOM WITH INSUFFICIENT LIGHT
SUPERIMPOSE: Date: 16.02.2009
SUPERIMPOSE: Nikunjo, Dhaka.
5 young men are sleeping here and there in the room. all of them are 21/22 years old. There is no proper bed in the room. They are sleeping on a mattress laid on the floor.
PAN TO SHUVRO
SHUVRO is having a dream.

INTERCUT BETWEEN SLEEPING SHUVRO AND THE DREAM SEQUENCES
SHUVRO is in a coral island beach with friends. Sleeping SHUVRO shows a happy expression on the face. SHUVRO, HIZBOOL, HASAN, NAFIS and ARFAN are lying on a boat on the beach. They are having fun. SHUVRO is on a boat on the sea. Again with those 4 friends. Sleeping SHUVRO recoils.
SHUVRO opens his eyes all of a sudden. He gets out of the bed and sits down. He feels a pain in his back. he massages his back and look at the wall. He seems confused. He stretches his hands and puts his head down.
FADE OUT
SUPERIMPOSE: Last Night
INT. SAME ROOM LAST NIGHT

A party is going on. There are 7 young guns who are celebrating something. SHUVRO, SAFFAYET, HIZBOOL, HASAN, NAFIS, VICKY, SUNNY these are their names.
FADE OUT
INT. SAME ROOM - PRESENT TIME
SHUVRO walks slowly to the table and takes his wrist watch to see the time.
INSERT - WRIST WATCH SCREEN - TIME (12:41 PM)
SHUVRO turns to NAFIS and wakes him up.
SHUVRO Where's SAFFAYET and VICKY?
NAFIS wakes up slowly. He rubs his eyes and try figure out what SHUVRO is saying to him. Then answers sleepily.
NAFIS They left in the morning. At 8.
SHUVRO takes his cigarette packet and pulls out a cigarette from it. In the meanwhile he notices that there are 3 cigarettes left in the packet. He lights up the cigarette and sits next to NAFIS. NAFIS gets out of the bed and starts to wake the others.
NAFIS Hey! Wake up! It's late. We have to go out to breakfast. I am f***ing hungry, man!
SUNNY wakes up in a hurry and starts to get ready. HIZBOOL gets up the bed and grabs a towel.
HIZBOOL I need a shower, man! From the smell of my body, even a 5 years old can tell that it is written "Old Rum" all over me! HIZBOOL notices that SUNNY is getting prepared.
HIZBOOL (walking to the bathroom) Are you going somewhere?
SUNNY (continuing) SAMIR bhai called. I have to go to meet him.
HIZBOOL (beat) Why? I mean - for what?
SUNNY Nothing important. Just because…
HIZBOOL walks off the room to take a shower. HASAN is still sleeping. SHUVRO tries to wake him up. But HASAN doesn't wake up. He turns the other side and sleeps again.
NAFIS Won't you guys breakfast!
SHUVRO Actually, buddy, I think we are running out of money.
NAFIS (anxiously) How much money do we got left?
SHUVRO goes to the table again and searches for his wallet. He finds that and opens the wallet.
INSERT - OPENED WALLET - 250 Taka
SHUVRO Not much! I've got 250 bucks in my wallet. And as far as I am concerned everybody has the same problem here.
NAFIS (Continuing) Shoot! You will be needing at least 170 Taka for the train ticket to Chittagong.
SHUVRO And… We also have to survive today. We have to eat, we have to go places which needs money. Crap! man… We are screwed!
